University of San Agustin Gymnasium: Where Everything Is Possible !

         University of San Agustin is one of the old schools here in Western Visayas and the first  University in Western Visayas. This school is known for its beautiful structure. One of the attractions of this school is the gymnasium.

University of San Agustin gymnasium is a place where all Augustinians gather for the events like Mr. and Ms. Intramurals, mass, acquaintances and many more. All events were witness in this place because this gym was really big. Many actors and actress also came in this gymnasium.
Also many major events here in Iloilo were conducted in this place.When I first encounter the gymnasium, I was really amazed because it was big and wide that all students of the University of San Agustin can occupy the gym. Me, as a student of this University, I also witness many events happened in this gym, there are many memorable experience that I encountered such as different  band performances, kawilihan dance troupe performance and that of troubadours singing. They all perform in this one place, the USA gymnasium. I can also hang out with my friends here and take some rest by just watching the event happening there. This place for me is really memorable  because I also used this place to perform our P.E. and other school activities. 

The gym is equipped with state of the art equipment. The floor is fully furnished to suit in international standards for basketball. It is also equipped with a high precision shot clock for the convenience of the officials to officiate well in plays. The audio system is strategically positioned to produce quality sounds. It is also well ventilated to counter the heat of the city. As of capacity, it can hold up to ten thousands individual. Such infrastructure is truly an engineering and architectural success.

 As a student I learned many things and treasure many events about the University of San Agustin Gymnasium that I will bring even after graduation.. This place is really amazing and worth remembered ! 

Beauty isn’t about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart and most importantly, a beautiful soul. The true essence of beauty is not seen in physical appearance but rather from the simple joy of making a difference for those who need your passion, dedication and time without expecting anything in return. So, I can say that this year’s Mr. and Ms. Intramurals candidates possess the true essence of beauty. But makes Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2014 a remarkable one? This year’s Mr. and Ms. Intramurals is unique one because as what I have heard from the MC’s it is first time in the history of University of San Agustin that Mr. and Ms. Intramurals Event has their own stage wherein the candidates can invade and showcase the beauty, intelligence and talent they possess. This year’s theme is also different because they are using different kinds of native products in their production number and they look like what we called “katutubo”. They have that kind of theme because they want that this year’s Mr. and Ms. Intramurals will be somewhat different from previous and will mark as one of the unforgettable events in the history of University of San Agustin.

“The Expendables 3” Review

“The Expendables 3” is an action-packed, chuckle-filled thrill ride of a movie with every old action star you can think of and some new, young blood added in just for fun. I know what everyone is thinking: Did they really make a third “Expendables” movie? Who even watched the second one? If you’ve seen and enjoyed the first one even a little bit, do yourself a favor and watch the second and third movies because they only get better as they go along. With the addition of a few more old action stars each time they make a new one, it made this final movie absolutely outrageous, but in the best way possible. Who else would have dared to put Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, Kelsey Grammar, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Antonio Banderas among others together in one giant testosterone fest? No one, that’s who, in the latest, and reportedly final, installment of “The Expendables,” Stallone fires his old team and fills it with new blood for a personal battle. He has been hired to take down Gibson’s character, the Expendables co-founder and notorious arms trader who is hell-bent on wiping out Stallone and every single one of his associates. The battle that follows is crazy, involves a lot of awkward close-ups of Stallone’s face and has a lot of over-the-top weaponry. The jokes are age-based, whether they are erectile dysfunction-related or about technology. The underlying theme of the movie focuses on the new versus the old ways of doing things. The new kids take on the old guys, and that battle results in some pretty great jokes. Men and women alike can head to the theaters for this movie and enjoy themselves because it’s fun, hilarious and has some great stunts as well. Statham even had a mishap during filming where he almost drowned, so you know it’s going to be insane. I’ve watched every single trailer for this movie a number of times and it still didn’t give away the entire plot, as most do these days. I think the best part of the trailers is that a lot of the scenes don’t actually happen in the theatrical version of the movie. So even if you’ve been seeing them on TV or seeking the trailers out on your own, you haven’t really figured it all out. But just to be safe, when it comes to action movies, it’s best not to over think the plot so you don’t ruin anything. I have to say, if this really is the final film of the series, they couldn’t have gone out in a better way. The final 45 minutes are explosion-filled and will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen.

Family and playing Basketball is my Inspiration

I’m inspired playing basketball because this is my hobby since I was in high school. I’m very thankful to the Lord God because He gives me more potential and skills. After I graduated in high school I decided to try-out basketball in the University of San Agustin because I know University of San Agustin is the first and biggest university in Western Visayas, also a good excellence quality higher education. I’m very thankful because the University accepts me to be scholar. Every time I play inside the court I saw different supporters who are cheering for me. But of course without University of San Agustin I can’t experience fun and exciting during activities. Also I inspired to my family, friends and classmates because they give me strength and more advices every time I have a problems in my everyday life. I inspired also to the Lord God that He gave me more graces to my family and He always guide me everywhere and anywhere I go.
